Meet the Matchmaker!

Firstly, it is with great pleasure that I am writing my first post in your group! I have been following The Group Hug since the summer and am amazed by the supportive nature of this community. I want to be a part of that and I want to share with you all my business, my experience and why I am passionate about it. I take affairs of the heart very seriously…but also like to add a sprinkle of shiny, pink sparkles on top.

I am a professional matchmaker who is passionate about people and helping them to reach their romantic goals. No two people are the same so my service is bespoke, tailor made to suit your needs. Having worked for 12 years in recruitment both in the UK and Internationally, where I enjoyed assisting hundreds of people to fulfil their goals, I realised that I could use my matchmaking skills for an even more rewarding purpose.

It all started when one of my best friends told me how much she wanted to find a partner and was struggling to do so. She had been on 12 dates in 10 years and was totally fed up. With a busy work schedule and several unpleasant experiences using dating apps, she was left totally disheartened. All I could think was, ‘She is a fabulous girl; independent, caring and very attractive, I know there are men out there who would see that too, we just need to put them in touch.’ And that is where my matchmaking journey began.

Talking now specifically to all you ladies here, I appreciate that the concept of love has been far from a fairy tale for many of you. Each of you has your own unique story and your own way of reacting to your experience. Pain, loneliness, stress or betrayal are perhaps some of the words that might describe these experiences. I can see that from many of the posts that appear here.

I too have gone through a separation this year, after 8 years together, and I know what it feels like to have your entire life change, the carpet pulled out from underneath you and that uncertainty of what the future will hold.

I am, therefore, even more motivated to work with people who not only want to find love again but perhaps also go through the experience of learning what it means all over again.   Perhaps you want to use a matchmaker because you are too busy with work or children to go on countless dates and swipe your way through dating apps. Perhaps it is not a question of time but rather of confidence after a difficult breakup. Whatever the circumstances, we can discuss your specific situation and I will let you know if I believe that I am the right person for the job.

I listen, I understand and I connect.

Developing trust with my clients is so important, so we arrange an initial session where you can get to know my method and I can learn about your specific needs. My clients are often busy with other aspects of their life so I can be called upon to do the hard part. Whilst I do have a range of eligible, single men who I have interviewed and who are on my books should they be a good match with one of my future clients, I will go out and headhunt on your behalf, based on your preferences and personality. We will work together with an open communication. If you need a little pep talk before you head out for your date then I will be glad to be your support.

Please feel free to check out my new Facebook page and send me a message if you would like to know more. I will treat each communication with the highest discretion. I operate mainly in and around London and the home counties.

It is with great pleasure that I can share my advice within this group. Wishing you all an excellent week!

What’s everyone saying about dating?

Warm regards Nicky Bespoke Amour
